Margo Anton has been a professional mosaic artist since 2004. While her first mosaics were mainly glass and tile, she has begun using a more eclectic mix of materials to indulge her love of texture and contrast. Her works have been shown in galleries and museums in her native Canada, in the USA, and Italy. Margo teaches and lectures on mosaic art in Canada and abroad. In February 2009, Margo began “Mosaic a Day” wherein she completes and blogs about the progress of each small-scale mosaic created in one day. She discovered the love of small-scale work and has become a leading artist and teacher in precision mosaic jewelry.
